Haiti.

God captured my heart & set my life in a new direction from the moment my feet stepped onto the dusty ground of this beautiful country. I spent 2 1/2 amazing months teaching kindergarten to a class full of beautiful white smiles. This was the most joyful few months of my life. I then moved back for 6 months, which were full of healing & experiencing God in new personal ways. I had my own reasons for moving back but God had His own and eventually I surrendered my heart to His. That was when He showed me midwifery. I said yes to something I never imagined myself doing, and I am so thankful I did because now I can't imagine my life without coming along side women through their childbearing season.

I do not know when I will be able to visit this impacting country but I pray that one day I will be able to travel back, visit friends and volunteer as a midwife.

Even though my feet are not in Haiti, my heart is still there with several people who are doing amazing things for the Kingdom.

Please check them out, pray for their working hands & the hearts of those they are serving.

" This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth." 1 John 3:16-18
