" Be strong and courageous, for YOU are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Well folks, I am officially employed, found my calling, a working woman whatever you want to say but I thank God first and foremost for sneakily putting this desire on my heart over the last few months. What desire you ask? You know that I absolutely LOVE kids and more is that I love to love kids endlessly so that they will be able to understand the immense LOVE that our Lord and Savior has for them. But over the summer He showed me that the way to end this cycle of forgotten love is to love and create relationships with the woman of Haiti, the new and old mothers, grandmothers and friends. To invest in their lives and let God love through ME so that they will understand what true love is that comes flowing from our Father.
"You didn't choose me. I chose YOU. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my command: LOVE EACH OTHER"
John 15:16
Since being back to the states I have learned what it really means to trust and come to the Lords feet abandoned and seeking direction. I have never been so at peace in my entire life and that feeling is one I pray that each and everyone of you will be able to experience.
" And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. and always be thankful" Colossians 3:15
I have the most wonderful sister, why? Well first she is a wonderful wife, an amazing mother and the bestest of friend you could have. But she came along side and supported me by doing the Daniel Fast for the last 2 weeks. We committed to giving up several mouth watering foods ( lets be honest all unhealthy tasty and sweet foods) to be in closer communion with the Lord and be seeking His guidance for my life. The restrictions came down to basically a vegan diet with even more restrictions. I cooked A LOT and enjoyed my time in the kitchen as my sister is giving me a place to sleep and food to eat, its a pleasure to have dinner ready and give her time to spend with her husband and kids.
"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said," I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life" John 8:12
The Lord revealed parts of me that I had hidden and things I didn't even know I was doing. Chains were broken and He began to put a spotlight on those things in my life that I needed to let go of and release to Him.
" But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.... For when I am weak, then I am strong" 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Its a brand new ministry. God has put an incredible desire and passion on the woman's heart who founded it. Her vision to love these woman is inspiring and her obedience to God is admirable.
HOPE for my Sister is going to be more then just a home for woman. Its going to be a shelter for those trying to escape from abuse, hurt & confusion. A place where they can be themselves and be LOVED for who God has made them. A place where they can learn life basics and life skills. A place to laugh, cry & be lifted up in prayer. To find rest from the everyday life. To build relationships with other woman. To be shown the love of God and to start a relationship with Him.
"I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of." John 10:10
God and I have LOTS to do before I fly back to Haiti to make it my home.... permanently!

As a birthday present my family bought me a ticket to go to Florida and visit 2 friends that the Lord brought me while my summer in Haiti. This will be a time of reenergizing, much needed girl time & prayer. I am so thankful for the genuine people God has put in my life, old & new, to support me in this new calling.
-I pray that God will stir hearts and put a passion to get involved and come along side me and this ministry through spiritual & financial support.
-That He will spark a desire in everyone who follows me to come down to Haiti and check out what He is doing there in Delmas 31 & the ravine.
"May He grant your heart's desires and make all your plans succeed." Psalm 20:4
-His words will guide you to new desires in your lives just as He has guided me to this new desire and calling.
